The village itself has a warm and welcoming character and offers a pub, coffee shop, and a handy post office/village shop. For those who want to make the most of the countryside surroundings, there are miles of walks to be enjoyed directly from the property's front door, whilst those who want to explore further afield, will find the town of Taunton just eight miles away. Thanks to the property's location in the heart of Somerset, there is easy access to the coast both to the north and south of the property. To the north, the large beach at Weston Super Mare is within a fifty minute drive, whilst the stunning Jurassic coast is around an equal distance to the south. The first thing that guests will notice on entering this barn conversion property, is the stunning views which can be enjoyed from the large floor to ceiling windows in the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Arranged so as to make the most of the beautiful sunsets and enjoy the warmth of the woodburner, the sofas in the lounge area look out over the countryside and also allow guests to sit back and relax in front of the TV (with Sky channels) and DVD. There is a Google home hub there to provide entertainment. One of these sofas is a sofa bed which can be used as an additional sleeping space for up to two children. The kitchen area, where guests will find everything they will need to make themselves at home, including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine, and tumble dryer. The bedroom is located off the main living area, and offers a king size bed and its own TV, perfect for enjoying relaxing lie ins or late night movies. The bathroom, located next to the bedroom, offers the best of both worlds with a bath, separate shower, and WC. Outside, the property benefits from its own enclosed garden which is accessed via patio doors from the lounge area. Enjoy the fabulous hot tub with incredible countryside views (please arrange with owner before arrival). There is outdoor furniture here, as well as a BBQ making it ideal for enjoying alfresco dining. Guests also have access to the owners' tennis courts by prior arrangement. There is plentiful off road parking available.
