The property is located in the popular village of Washford and is within walking distance of a range of shops and a pub. Step back in time and aboard a steam train; conveniently located in the village is the West Somerset Railway that takes you through the beautiful Somerset countryside. Head to the coast and visit Watchet with its pretty harbour, or the coastal town of Minehead. Further along the coast are the attractive villages of Porlock, Lynmouth and Lynton. Dunster, with its National Trust castle towering above it, is a must see and is just a short drive, as is Exmoor National Park, perfect for those wishing to walk or cycle this awe inspiring landscape. Step into the light and airy open plan lounge/diner with beautiful exposed beams and a wood burner a perfect escape. Settle in for a snug evening with a feast, a bottle of wine and a film on the TV. The perfectly equipped kitchen has an electric range oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer; it is a great space for cooking lazy breakfasts or trying out new recipes. There is also a useful cloakroom with WC. Heading up the cottage style stairs is a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom with a bath, separate shower and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed walled courtyard garden with a view over a stream and to Cleeve Abbey, great for both you and your four legged friends to relax in. Guests will find a table and chairs and a charcoal BBQ. There is a free local car park a short walk from the property or, alternatively, guests may prefer to park on the roadside.
