On stepping inside, you will fall in love with this detached bespoke oak cabin, and will love the gorgeous brick floor with underfloor heating, which will keep you warm even on colder days. Every detail has been lovingly handcrafted by the owner, including the handmade kitchen with lots of great features including the bespoke taps. The living and dining area are open plan to the kitchen and feature a lovely wood burner and views over the garden. The bedroom has a lovely kingsize bed and gorgeous lighting features, and the en-suite boasts a large shower, statement sink and bespoke taps. The owner has lovingly converted this property to offer you the perfect escape from your everyday life, and you may want to come back year after year. Another couple of features are the chain drainpipe and statement light fittings in the living room, which are so original and another testament to the finer details that have been thought of here.
You will find the Old Chicken House set in the woods surrounding Otterhead Lakes in the Blackdown Hills. After crossing the Troll Bridge and ascending the wooden steps, you are greeted by a gorgeous decked area which leads to the top of the garden where you will find the stunning wood fired hot tub with views over the trees and the property, offering complete privacy.
Situated just a stone’s throw from Otterhead Lakes, you can spend time strolling around the lakes before heading into the pub in Churchinford just a mile away. The county town of Taunton, with all your shopping and entertainment needs, is just 9 miles away and the beach of Lyme Regis is reached within 25 minutes.
