This Grade II listed, 17th century stone cottage is set in an elevated position, above a quiet lane in the pretty Somerset village of Coleford, midway between Bath and Wells. What was once the village lock-up, and the oldest standing building in the village, has now been converted into a cosy semi-detached holiday cottage with some great features inside. Snuggle up in front of the warming wood burner in the cosy beamed living/dining room, with the dining area found in one of the turrets, which offers intimate dining for two. Ascend to the charming, kingsize bedroom in the upper floor of the turret, complete with a study where you’ll also find an interesting selection of books for you to browse amongst at your leisure, as well as a second bedroom with a ¾ double bed and exposed stone walls. On warmer days, enjoy a barbecue in the shared enclosed courtyard with garden furniture, chiminea and BBQ.
