Bath is renowned for its architectural treasures, in particular The Royal Crescent, The Circus, Pump Room and Pulteney Bridge, and the entire city has been designated a World Heritage site. Other famous attractions include the Roman Baths, the 15th-century abbey, and the recent arrival of the Thermae Bath Spa with open air rooftop pool. Catch a show at the beautiful Theatre Royal, which puts on performances all year round to appeal to all the family, with drama, comedy, dance, opera and frequent Sunday concerts. There is a year round calender of festivals and cultural events, and a huge array of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. Bath is also famous for its range of quality independent shops.
