Adjoining the owner’s home, its position is close to the Manifold Valley, with the Manifold cycle track just one mile away. This follows the route of the former Leek and Manifold Valley Light Railway, and is flat and mostly traffic free. A good variety of walks are also available direct from the door, ranging from hardy, all-weather, all-terrain ramblers, to those wanting to just enjoy a gentle stroll. Carsington Water, where you can kayak, cycle, sail or fish, is also around a 30-minute drive. The UK’s premier theme park, Alton Towers, complete with water park and spa is just 20 minutes away.
