Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a pond in the grounds, 200 yards away.. Set within the village of Long Marston in the Warwickshire countryside, this peaceful, single-storey, detached, one-bedroomed cottage enjoys extensive views over open farmland and an array of wildlife in the 5 acres of the owner’s property, Kings Lodge. It is named Kings Lodge due to King Charles II taking hiding in the 500-600 year old property after the Battle of Worcester, where he posed as a servant at 21 years old.

Queens Cottage is completely surrounded by countryside and gardens, in a peaceful location with no road visibility or traffic noise. It lies between Shakespeare’s hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon, with its famous theatre, independent shops, cafés and restaurants, and the elegant market town of Chipping Campden in the north Cotswolds, both 6 miles away. It’s a great base for exploring the local area with so much to see and do, including many Cotswold towns and villages – Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Norton, Evesham, Alcester and Warwick are all within easy reach. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
