North Promenade

On the toe of Wonderland groin is a sunken forest, the main beach consists of sand, the habitat stretches out to the mean low water mark with some transient mud patches. From Wonderland groin through to Cleethorpes Leisure centre. The beach is located South East of Grimsby Town centre at the mouth of the Humber Estuary, access to the beach is by steps and slipways. Through the winter the area is a haven for migratory and wintering birds.

A land train is also available for transport along the promenade and surrounding areas.
