Gyllyngvase Beach is a wonderfully typical family resort beach set on the south coast of Cornwall and gently warmed by the waters of the Gulf Stream. It is a long sandy stretch of coast that is popular both visitors and locals all year round. The raised promenade offers magnificent views across the bay. A good range of facilities for all the family, including disabled visitors who can book an ‘all terrain’ wheelchair from the cafe. Deck chairs can be hired and there are volleyball and tennis facilities. For a pleasant walk, visit Queen Mary Gardens which adjoin the beach and for the more energetic the South West Coast Path passes by. Falmouth with its many facilities and attractions including the National Maritime Museum Cornwall and Pendennis Castle is close by.
