Set in an area which is popular with hill walkers, cyclists and whisky enthusiasts, this is the perfect setting for those looking for a peaceful holiday in the countryside. Within easy reach of the Highlands as well as Moray and Aberdeenshire, you are ideally placed for exploring what each area has to offer. From the castle trails in Aberdeenshire to the Malt Whisky trail across Speyside, there is something for everyone to enjoy. There are outdoor activities on offer in the area for all ages, including quad biking, archery, clay pigeon shooting, kayaking and canyoning. Fishing is available in various rivers and lochs nearby, and an abundance of golf courses can be enjoyed within the region and beyond. Walking through the glass door entrance, you are welcomed into a large hall with beautiful flagstone floors. The heart of this luxurious architect designed home is the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with a rotating wood burning stove in the centre of the room which stretches up to a glass cuploa. The stylish tweed sofas are a nod to the Scottish Highlands in which the property is located, and a large Smart TV makes this a brilliant space for relaxing in. Copper light fittings throughout are reminiscent of the nearby whisky stills and are a beautiful touch to the interior. The kitchen contains an electric oven and hob, microwave, two fridges and a freezer, as well as a wine cooler. The dining table seats 8 people comfortably, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the rolling hills outside. There is a large utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and additional freezer, which can be useful for providing additional kitchen space if you are having a dinner party or a chef who is serving up a special celebratory meal. The ground floor enjoys underfloor heating throughout as well as a boot room for drying off your outdoor gear after a busy day of exploring. There is a ground floor king size bedroom with an en suite shower room with shower and WC, furnished tastefully throughout with high quality Laura Ashley bedding and matching curtains, and a TV that uses a DVD player only. Upstairs on the first floor are three further bedrooms: a super king size with en suite shower room and WC, and two twin bedrooms, both with en suite shower rooms with shower and WC. Each of the bedrooms are bright and spacious and have been furnished similarly to the ground floor bedroom. Each of the upstairs bedrooms enjoys unspoilt views of the countryside, and the rural location means there won t be a single sound to disturb you from a peaceful night s sleep. Completing the first floor is the bathroom comprising of hand held shower over bath, separate shower and WC. Outside, the large garden is mainly laid to lawn, with a patio to relax on beside the firepit on those chillier evenings. The garden furniture allows for some al fresco dining and the patio doors from the living space mean the kitchen is easily accessible from the outdoors. The gravel driveway has ample parking for five cars.
