Relax in the splendour of this imposing turreted holiday home, which is set in a large garden and looks out across the picturesque Loch Goil. Spend time on the shores of the beautiful sea loch, go fishing, hire a boat or indulge in some wildlife watching. Stroll down to the ruins of Carrick Castle, a 14th century tower house, which stands proudly beside the water. Head straight out from your comfortable base to go hiking, hill walking or cycling in the stunning Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Explore Argyll and Bute's Cowal Peninsula and take in its dramatic views. Enjoy the high ceilings and light filled rooms of this impressive holiday home from the moment you step inside. Bask in the glow of the woodburner, set into a splendid fireplace in the drawing room. Prepare celebratory feasts in the kitchen and then dine within the grandeur of the ornate dining room, where there is another wood burner to light on chilly evenings. Spread out in the generous family room, with its vaulted ceiling, and light the wood burner in here too, as you play pool, watch TV and spend precious time together. One of the bedrooms and a family shower room are also at ground floor level. Head upstairs, past a beautiful picture window on the half landing, to find the other bedrooms. Once on the first floor, find the family bathroom and four more sumptuous bedrooms, one of which has a turret window. Wake up in either of the front bedrooms to scenic vistas of the Scottish landscape. Spend as much time as possible out in the tranquillity of the large garden, which borders the loch and its pebble beach. Relax on a bench on the private lawn with a cup of tea as you soak up the views. Enjoy long summer lunches, BBQs on the decked area and the 6 person hot tub and star gazing on the crystal clear dark skies. There is driveway parking for up to five cars. Please note children must be supervised at all time due to the fast flowing burn in the garden and proximity to the loch.
