With the shoreline nearby, beach days can be enjoyed as a family, from sandcastle building to surfing, ending the evening with a tipple at Surfside Polzeath or a meal at The Waterfront Grill. For hikers and explorers, nearby areas of interest include Pentire Point Nature Reserve, with its rugged, clifftop vantage points, ideal for wildlife spotting, and The Rumps, possible to reach from the coastal path.
