At Gardens by the Sea, you can unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. With eight generous bedrooms accessed up the grand staircase sleeping up to 15 people, this is a spacious and comfortable accommodation for everyone. Five of the bedrooms have super king zip-and-link beds that can be made up as super king doubles or twin beds, two of the bedrooms are twin rooms, and one bedroom has a queen size bed for single occupancy only. Upon request hosts can reconfigure the arrangement of beds to customise for each party.
There is a housekeeping service which is complimentary and provided on weekday mornings from 9-12. This ensures that guests have a thoroughly relaxing stay and have more time to explore the wonderful scenery of West Cornwall. The house is easily accessible to many sandy beaches, footpaths including the Southwest Footpath, the Minack Theatre, St Michael's Mount, and St Ives.

Security deposit?
For any damage or breakages unnecessarily caused by guests other than fair wear and tear and accidental damage, we will discuss the cost of replacement/repair with you. If something does get damaged, please don’t be embarrassed, accidents happen, we’d be grateful if you could notify our housekeeping team as soon as possible in order that we can organise it’s repair/replacement ready for our next guests.

Minimum stay?
3 nights. Short breaks are available from November to the end of March, with the exception of school holidays and may be available at short notice at other times of the year. A short break must be for a minimum of three nights.
Changeover day?
Friday (indicated by the circled dates) for week long bookings, however short breaks are also available for a minimum of 3 days starting from any circled dates on the calender or please contact us for other short break requests.
Pets welcome?
Up to two dogs are welcome and we ask guests to bring their own dog beds. For the comfort of other guests and maintaining the high standard of cleanliness and condition of the house, dogs must remain in the back kitchen behind the provided child gate at all times. An extensive network of public footpaths can be joined at Trewidden Farm by walking up the rear drive. As a matter of course, we expect all guests to pick up and dispose of all dog mess.

Insurance?
Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, loss of personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
Other Ts and Cs?
Trewidden Garden is open from February to September, 7 days a week 10:30-5:30 (last entry at 4:30). All guests staying in the house are welcome to enter the garden free of charge as many times as they wish during their stay during these times. We have an excellent licensed tearoom that serves delicious and freshly prepared lunches using local produce such as Newlyn crab and sweet treats alongside cornish coffee and tea as well as the obligatory cream tea.
If you are staying with us outside of our opening times, please let the housekeepers know if you’d like to go in the garden. This is when much of the larger works such as tree surgery etc are carried out in the garden and for your safety, the gardeners will need to know in advance if anyone else will be in the garden when they are carrying out such works.
