Killarney is just a short drive away. It is renowned as one of Ireland’s most popular towns with events and festivals throughout the year. There is an abundance of fine restaurants, shops and lively bars where traditional Irish music is available. From Killarney why not explore Killarney House, St. Mary’s Cathedral, Muckross House, the Gap of Dunloe, Ross Castle or Torc Waterfall. Hire a horse-drawn jaunting car and explore the National Park. Alternatively try a boat ride on nearby Lough Leane and take a walk on Inisfallen Island with its ancient monastic ruins. The world-famous coastal drive, the ‘Ring of Kerry’, leaves from Killarney to wonderful beaches and more glorious views.
