Staff wear gloves for cleaning.* This very special Alice in Wonderland themed Georgian Townhouse in one of Bath’s loveliest neighbourhoods is able to sleep up to 16 and offers a truly unique place for you and your family or friends. The home is equipped with a number of quirky decorations and offers something new to explore around every corner. This eccentric home is waiting for you to jump down the rabbit hole.
The home has been recently redecorated in an Alice in Wonderland story theme that works well with the old Georgian architecture of the house. All the beds have comfortable mattresses and each bed can sleep one or two guests. The 8 bedrooms come with 4 double beds, and 8 single beds comfortably sleeping up to 16. All bedrooms have beautiful large windows. All bedrooms come in different themes and colours such a green forest room with white rabbits or a room with hearts and many red details. There are 3 bathrooms, 2 with showers and one with a bathtub. The kitchen and dining room offer enough space for all your guests and are equipped with everything you need. The living room offers several red and black Chesterfield sofas and is kept in the quirky card game theme. It’s perfect for communal activities and benefits from beautiful large Georgian windows. The mounted TV makes this room ideal for cosy evenings. It’s also equipped with high-speed WiFi and plenty of space to get work done should you need it. There are also a washer and an iron should you want to use them. JustPark is available in the neighbourhood should you need to park your car.
You’ll have access to the home at all times. Because the home comes with smart locks, you’ll be able to check in any time after 3pm, but please be mindful of noise after 9pm.
Please reach out through this listing if you have any questions, as I am always on call and available to my guests if needed.
The home is located in a beautiful neighbourhood in Bath close to the River Avon and is walking distance from many of the town's attractions such as the Roman Baths, the Jane Austen Centre, the Abby, and the Victoria Art Gallery. The area around the house has a lot of cute local shops, culture and many great restaurants and coffee shops. The neighbourhood itself is quiet and safe and has a lot of green spaces and parks.
The home profits from being in such a great location. Since you’re so close to the river and other attractions, this place is perfect for someone who wants to explore beautiful Bath by foot. The surrounding areas are easy to get to and around. There are affordable Taxis and Uber as well as public transport available should you not want to walk.
This home is located right in the middle of the city, so it’s perfect if you want to enjoy the lively city centre. This home requires guests to use stairs to access it and may not be suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility. The home is spread across multiple levels and guests who have difficulties with stairs may find it hard to access the whole home. This home is right in the centre of the city and while it’s safely away from traffic, you can hear the hustle and bustle of the city. The home is surrounded by the sights, sounds, and smells of the cafes, restaurants and bars around it, perfect for those who want exciting things to do right on their doorstep. Because the home is surrounded by cafes and restaurants, you may be able to smell food from these restaurants - not unpleasant, just worth noting for those with a keen sense of smell. It’s worth noting that this home has rooms on the lower ground floor, so you might find these rooms darker than expected (perfect if you like darkness when sleeping, though!). Travel cots can be provided upon request but guests will have to bring their own linens.
Please, no parties or smoking. Please be respectful of the neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 9pm. If these rules are violated we will charge guests to cover the security call out fee and any additional expenses to cover their misbehaviour.
