Mickleton itself has a fabulous pub the Blacksmith arms serving freshly made pizza's and local beers, a vibrant Village hall hosting a range of musical events and a fortnightly run cinema club A stone's throw away from Toadlands lies the Railway walk ( former railway line ) connecting Mickleton to the neighboring villages of Romaldkirk, Cotherstone and Middleton all with friendly pubs serving delicious food. In Middleton the larger of the villages there are also several excellent cafes, restaurants and an award-winning Fish and Chip shop, a co-op store, pharmacy, butchers, iron mongers and part time post office. also on the doorstep you can visit the spectacular High force and low force waterfalls, enjoy the beautiful Eggleston Hall garden.
