If you are a whiskey lover, try the distilleries in the area, with Glengoyne (16 miles) and Auchentoshan (11.5 miles) nearby. For those who love learning about the history and culture, visit the National Trust s Hill House (8.5 miles). For those who want to get out and about in the beautiful Scottish air, head to Mugdock Country Park (18 miles), which has over 660 acres of countryside to explore on foot or two wheels. Closer to home, 1 mile away, Balloch Castle Country Park boasts impressive views over Loch Lomond and has an impressive 19th century castle to explore. Hang coats and boots in the stylish hallway which leads through to the open plan lounge/dining area. Sofas and a Smart TV offer the perfect place to cosy up with a movie after a busy day exploring he national park. Treat your guests to a delicious homecooked meal which can be served around a large table that seats ten comfortably. A well equipped kitchen/diner is home to an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Open the French doors for fresh air while sat at the breakfast table. There are four bedrooms to choose from throughout this lodge. One double and a shower room with shower and WC complete the ground floor. Upstairs on the first floor, there s a king size bedroom and a twin which both have en suite shower rooms, and a double bedroom. Along the back of the courtyard there s a communal path, and you ll have your own private patio area, complete with gazebo, outdoor seating and a BBQ. Make the most of your own private hot tub please note that the hot tub is only available from 10am 10pm daily. Courtyard parking for three cars at the front of the property.
