This peaceful barn retreat is located just a couple of miles outside of the village of Llanilar which has a convenient village shop, bar and restaurant. There are countryside and woodland walks to be had directly from the doorstep, walk along the nearby stream and keep an eye out for local birdlife. The popular seaside town of Aberystwyth can be reached within six miles where you will find a wealth of bars, restaurants and shops to choose from or take a walk along its promenade. Why not venture to Aberaeron, just 13 miles and enjoy a famous honey ice cream or delicious fish and chips and watch the boats or walk to the pebble beach. Only 20 miles away is the beautiful seaside resort of New Quay, the town has a variety of shops, eateries, a wildlife marine centre, two golden sandy beaches and a picturesque harbour. Enjoy boat trips offering dolphin watching and a range of water sports. Explore the Dylan Thomas trail and follow the footsteps of Wales best loved poet who once lived in the town. Walkers can join part of the coastal footpath, which covers over 60 miles with breath taking views. Or visit Wales' only silver mine visitor attraction, dramatic waterfalls, or take a trip on a steam train with the Vale of Rheidol Railway. As you enter the barn you are welcomed into a cosy, open plan, lounge/kitchen/diner. Light your very own wood burner in the evenings and curl up in the comfortable lounge which has ample seating and a Smart TV to watch your favourite programmes. The stylish kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a built in Quooker boiling water tap. You will also find a selection of crockery and cooking utensils so you can make the most of the space and whip up a light lunch or a delicious supper. There is a dining table for four provided. Enjoy your meals here or simply relax with a cup of coffee and plan your activities for the day. The shower room is also located on the ground floor with a shower and WC. Upstairs onto the first floor, you will find the both bedrooms nestled in the eaves. The first bedroom is a pleasant king size zip and link bedroom which on request can be made up as a twin room, with storage for clothes and room for your luggage. The second bedroom has a metal framed double bed and also benefits from storage for your clothing and belongings. Externally there is an enclosed garden to the front of the property laid to gravel with an area of lawn. Should you wish to dine al fresco, sit and enjoy at the patio table. The property is accessible via an uphill path with several steps from your allocated parking space on the private roadside.
