The Stable Yard consists of two beautifully restored 1860's stables that have been in the family for three generations. This unique conversion boasts two spacious king-size bedrooms, cosy double room, two comfortable living spaces, kitchens with hob, fridge, microwave toaster and kettle, (No oven) as well as a modern bathrooms. Tasteful country décor throughout.
The Stables also benefit from the exclusive use of the games barn which houses a hot tub, log burner, seating area and film projector, as well as a sauna in the single courtyard.
Guests have private parking for up to 3 cars, a private fenced shingle courtyard and access to the farm for views, walks and animal friends.


In a picturesque country location, that include beautiful walks and bridal ways. The Stable Yard is close to the historical Hedighman Castle, Gosfield Lake, the oldest recorded town of Colchester as well as many pretty villages and market towns within short drive.
We are also located near several beautiful wedding/party venues.

Access to and from the surrounding villages and towns could not be easier with our very own bus stop situated just outside the farm entrance. Just a short drive into the village is a lovely pub, and if you are looking for somewhere to eat there is a variety of pubs, restaurants and eateries just a short drive away.

Once you turn onto Gosfield road, please be mindful of our slightly concealed farm entrance. Look out for our signs on the opposite side of the road to guide you.

This farm stay is located in Braintree.
