Sleeping up to six guests, this three bedroom property is only 1 mile from the foodie hub of Abergavenny. The perfect retreat for those looking to enjoy both outdoor pursuits and the up and coming status of this modern town, it ideally balances leisure and play. Pick up one of the many walks from your doorstep; you can even have a go at a conquering the mighty Sugar Loaf Mountain if you feel up to it! Dominating the skyline, it s a little more of a challenge but rewards summiteers with jaw dropping views at the top! Dust off paws and shoes in the spacious cloakroom just outside the back door before heading inside. Immediately inviting, the first place to visit is the kitchen. With a quarry tile stone floor, radiant electric AGA, plenty of home comforts and large dining table as its centrepiece, this is very much a family space and great for relaxing throughout the day. Switch on the wall mounted TV and settle into one of the sofas with a brew as you plan your Brecon adventures. For post walk relaxation, you can lap up the ambience in the property s parlour room, a beautiful time trap with a ancient arched oak doorway, stone fireplace with an enormous stone lintel and great oak beams. Sink into one of the sumptuous sofas that tastefully juxtapose the period etchings and pop the TV on (complete with Freeview). For extra choice, there is also a second fully equipped sitting room with lots of games and, if you re feeling particularly creative, a writing room too. When bedtime rolls around, you will find the three bedrooms located up the stone stairs steep and uneven in true cottage fashion which consist of a king, a double and a twin. When the sun is shining, the property s large garden will be a real favourite. Accessed via the backdoor, its enclosed space lends a reassuring sense of security as children and dogs play outside, while its incredible views are a real treat whatever the weather.
