A short drive to Betws y Coed, the gateway to the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia) is excellent for hill walking, adventure activities, shopping and dining. Just beside the castle is the Manorafon Farm Park, a perfect day to enjoy with the children where you can meet and feed the local farm animals. Drive or take the alpine-style cable cars up to The Great Orme which offers the best views over Llandudno and out to sea, there is also the Little Orme where you can look down over Angel Bay to see playful seals sprawling on the rocks below.
