Romantic and idyllic couples retreat with hot tub set in the perfect place to unwind and explore dramatic countryside, historic towns and pretty villages in Snowdonia National Park and North Wales. Close to Bala boasting Wales s largest natural lake, narrow gauge railway, National White Water Centre and a range of shops and eateries. Betws y Coed is full of outdoor activities and craft shops, galleries and pubs alongside the historic bridges, river pools, waterfalls and hill top lakes. Enjoy walking, climbing, sailing, kayaking and fishing in spectacular scenery. Visit historic towns Ruthin and Denbigh, have a day trip to the beach at Barmouth or take the challenges of GYG Karting, Snowdonia s Cader Idris, the Zip World Caverns and Surf Snowdonia. This really is an all year round destination. This former dairy oozes character with beamed ceilings, cosy wood burner, a myriad of stylishly furnished rooms, interesting artworks around every corner and stunning rural views. The impressive entrance hall has oodles of space to hang your coats and leave your boots. Walking back through the hall you will find the large bathroom with a walk in shower, free standing bath and WC, as well as a spacious double bedroom with plenty of storage and lots of natural light. The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner is bright and spacious with French doors opening on to the patio area with wonderful views over grounds towards the mountain range. Relax on the comfy leather sofas, plan your holiday adventures or maybe light the ready laid wood burner and watch TV or a DVD. If you decide to eat in the well equipped kitchen area, with breakfast bar, you'll find all you need to prepare a meal with the electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine, alongside all the thoughtful little extras creating a lovely space to cook in. Wander through to the library stairwell, settle down with a good book or listen to the radio. Dressing gowns and towels are also provided for the hot tub. Up the private drive, past the owners home the property nestles on the gravelled courtyard with superb countryside views. Enjoy alfresco dining on the patio area with table, chairs, charcoal BBQ and lovely views over the standing stones and beyond. There are also a number of shared places to sit and relax in the nine acres of grounds, maybe picnic on the lawn or by the standing stones or head to the shade of the trees. If you are bringing your bike there is a lockable store and outside tap with hose available. Plenty of outside space for your canoe or kayak's. The shared, spacious, vaulted ceiling games barn is also accessible from the courtyard and offers a wide range of fun activities to enjoy, including Free View TV with large wall projection, darts, table tennis, slate bed pool table and high quality hi fi system. Ample private parking on site, within walking distance of the property. Please note that the path from the car parking area is quite steep. The owners have also wilded seven acres of the grounds to make a small sanctuary for wildlife with the creation of a large natural lake, new copses and wildflower meadows. Guests are welcome to walk around the lake but swimming and fishing are prohibited, but a wander through the wildflower meadow on a summer's evening is a real nature lovers treat.
