Situated in the coastal village of Llanbedr, Wales, is this charming Scandinavian wooden-clad lodge, Sun View Lodge. Located in a timeless village within Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, you are in the midst of the most attractive part of the region. The character, comfort and charm give it a magical feeling and is most suitable for families. Be greeted by a large open-plan living space the moment you step through the door with a wonderful sitting area inviting you to relax on the plush, leather sofas. Let the flat electric feature fire keep the room nice and toasty whilst you put your feet up and flick on the TV for an evening of entertainment. Catch up with your loved ones at the large wooden dining table over a home-cooked meal and choose to break open a bottle of champagne to celebrate a wonderful holiday. Walk through to the well-appointed kitchen, fitted to a high-standard which is the perfect spot for preparing some tasty treats for your loved ones. The ground-floor has a double bedroom with matching bedside tables complete with lamps for some late night reading and an abundance of storage space, served by a shower room. Venture up to the first floor where you will find a twin bedroom and a master double with a children's single bed and access to a small balcony area so you can enjoy a cup of tea and a good read as the sun rises. Discover a delightful games area housing table football, an Xbox 360 and TV with a DVD player, sure to keep your little ones entertained for the whole day, whilst you enjoy a relaxing soak in the outdoor hot tub. The property is surrounded by grassy areas and its own decked veranda with plenty of furniture for some alfresco dining. Set in this delightful village, the property is within easy reach of two pubs/restaurants of your choosing where you can sample some Welsh delicacies, or enjoy some traditional pub food. A short drive away brings you to the hugely popular Shell Island which gives some of the most magnificent views imaginable and a lovely beach adorned with wild flowers and seashells, ideal for spending an afternoon sunbathing, playing a variety of beach games with your children, or swimming in the shallow waters. The Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park is rich with tourist sites for exploring, particularly those interested in walking, cycling and hiking opportunities. If you're looking for a spot of history, make sure you visit the medieval Harlech Castle or brave the Llanfair Slate Caverns which hold a wealth of mining history. Sun View Lodge is an excellent choice for families looking to explore this beautiful region.
