Hay-on-Wye, located in the heart of England, is a tempting town known worldwide as the Town of Books. The town is most popular during the annual Hay Festival in May, attracting visitors from all over. In addition to browsing bookstores and enjoying coffee, visitors can partake in outdoor activities such as wild swimming in the River Wye, kayaking, cycling, hiking, and more.

Nestled within the grounds of the owner's home, this former apple store has been lovingly restored and offers a peaceful retreat for up to six guests. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a basket of complimentary goodies, including Welsh Lavender bath products. The ground floor features a spacious entrance hall, dining area, lounge with a wood burner, conservatory, and a well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room. For a unique dining experience, guests can arrange for freshly prepared Japanese set meals.

Upstairs, there are three spacious bedrooms, two of which have en suite showers and WC, while the third is a twin room with an en suite shower and WC. Outside, guests can relax in the walled gardens, dine on the large decking area, and even enjoy an open-air cinema experience with a 3mx2m screen and wireless headphones. A pizza oven is also available for guests to use, with the option of bringing their own pizza or using freshly made dough from the owner's kitchen. Off-road parking for two cars is provided, and there is an electric vehicle charging point on-site for added convenience.
