Aviemore is the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, a vibrant and lively village with an array of outdoor pursuits and attractions meaning that there is something for everyone, making it an incredibly popular tourist destination. Strathavon Chalet will suit a family or group of friends who want to get out and about and savour this wonderful area, and have a cosy, comfortable and relaxing base to return to at the end of a busy day. The well-equipped accommodation is set over two floors, and the modern fitted kitchen with dining area ensures meals can be prepared with ease. The sitting room is on the upper floor and a door provides access out onto a large balcony, from which spectacular views of the famous Cairngorms can be enjoyed. There are two comfortable bedrooms, a modern shower room, and outside there is a large shared garden where children can play safely. From the garden there is a path that leads to the beautiful River Spey, just a 5 minute stroll away. For walkers there are numerous paths to follow and plenty of cycle tracks along magical routes. Wherever you go you will see an amazing array of wildlife and the RSPB centre at Loch Garten, where the Ospreys return year after year, is a must for all ages.
