The cabin sleeps five people in two bedrooms which are made up of a twin room and a family room with a double and a single bed. There is also a ground floor shower room, a kitchen with a dining area, and a first floor sitting room with an electric fire and a balcony with furniture. Outside there is roadside parking available for one car and shared use of a lawned garden. Strathavon Chalet is in an ideal location for families or friends wanting to get out and about and enjoy walking in this spectacular area.

Note: Working railway line next to property, heavier trains run at 7:45am and 9:30pm with lighter trains throughout the day, some associated noise will be heard.

There is also sailing, riding and birdwatching, with rare species to be found including Ospreys and Capercaillie. You will find Aviemore an ideal base for touring the Highlands and nearby Grampians.

Spey Valley Golf Course and Cairngorm Brewery are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Cairngorms National Park and Rothiemurchus Estate Visitor Centre. Speyside Wildlife and Cairngorm Reindeer Herd are also worth visiting. Be sure not to miss outdoor adventures like hiking and cycling.
