There are some lovely walks here too along the Lune River to Ruskin s View and Devil s Bridge. Head east into the Yorkshire Dales National Park with its famous White Scar Cave and Ingleton Waterfalls Trail 9 miles away. Alternatively, visit the South Lakes such as Windermere 18 miles away for a day of kayaking or cycling around the picturesque shore. This newly converted 17th century barn still maintains its charm and character, but with all the modern conveniences you need for a relaxing getaway. Enter the bright, open plan kitchen/lounge/diner, perfect for socialising. Prepare meals in the well equipped kitchen, which is fitted with an electric oven and hob, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a microwave and a dishwasher. Head out through the bi fold doors in the living room to the patio, where you can dine alfresco and admire the stunning views from the enclosed garden. There is also a handy lockable bike shed for storing some essential gear. There is private parking for two cars on the property. Guests can also enjoy access to a private section of the river through the owner s fields, where you can spot a variety of wildlife including otters, kingfishers and deer.
