Town: A village and civil parish in Lancashire, England's City of Preston district is called Goosnargh. Although the ancient centre is in the civil parish of Goosnargh, the community is located between Broughton and Longridge and is primarily in the civil parish of Whittingham. Church Lane is the location of the Anglican parish church of St. Mary. On Whittingham Lane is the Trinity Methodist Church, which was built in the first half of the 1880s. The first Saturday following the Spring Bank Holiday Monday is when the village hosts its yearly celebration, which includes a procession through the community. Marching bands, fancy dress participants, maypole dancers, and adorned floats are all part of the procession. In addition, Preston provides a variety of boutique and independent stores, many of which have a long, proud history of their own, as well as thriving indoor and outdoor markets, fresh Lancashire vegetables, and more.
Located in Preston, this lodge is in a rural area and on a lake. Preston Golf Club and Preston Docks are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Cobble Hey Farm and Gardens and Dewlay Cheese Factory. Bowland Wild Boar Park and The FIG Tree are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling, hiking/biking trails, and rock climbing nearby.
