Why not head to the bustling Roman City of Lincoln where you can visit Lincoln Castle which is home to one of only four original copies of the Magna Carta within its Medieval Walls, the International Bomber Command Centre, and Lincoln Cathedral which was for almost 300 years the tallest building in the world. There are so many activities in close proximity to the Smithy, from a relaxing day out on one of the many sandy beaches along the Lincolnshire coastline, the Fishing Heritage Centre, bird watching and seal spotting, Cleethorpes boating lake, Lincolnshire Wolds railway, the Deep Aquarium and Humber Bridge walk, and access to the local market towns of Caistor, Market Rasen, and Louth which are all well equipped with tearooms, local shops and plenty of restaurants.
