The Glass Gallery, By Veeve, London

London. Sleeps up to 10

They say it's all a matter of perspective — and for this creatively designed five-bedroom home, that means each rooms exhibits a different array of shapes and colours. Uniting slick interiors with striking artwork and an impeccably designed garden, it's like staying in a captivating modern art galley...just a lot comfier and with the option to enjoy many an evening wine on the terrace. Tempting as it is to stay put, the buzz of Upper Islington Street is tantalisingly close by, with Highbury and Islington Station round the corner — ideal for those jollies into Central London.

A little of this home's signature pizazz is sprinkled everywhere here, spotlighting artistic flair against an effortlessly cool backdrop of modern interiors. The living room is a masterclass in contrasts, from its monochrome palette to its geometric patterns, fluid sculpture, and curved lines. The well-equipped kitchen and atmospheric dining area are awash with light, thanks to ample use of glass and fresh tones. On cosy evenings in, we'd suggest setting up camp in front of the TV, or, if it's a fancy home-cooked dinner you're hankering after, you can enjoy sitting under the stars in winter, and with the patio doors wide open in summer. Upstairs it's tricky to pick a favourite bedroom, with light-filled interiors and vibrant accents making them all equally inviting, whilst the bathrooms are as sleek as you'd expect — our favourite being the one with the freestanding silver bath, naturally.

We love...
The garden is built for summer chill outs, with its split level terrace edged with topiary and expertly furnished with al fresco dining table and sheltered seating area. But we also can't resist mentioning the artwork. Whatever your taste — playful sculpture, vivid prints, or arresting paintings, there's something to inspire everyone here.
