Set within beautiful countryside, this lovely period property makes an ideal base for enjoying breathtaking walks and bike trails through the glorious Yorkshire Dales (13.5 miles) and the fantastic Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (8 miles). There are some delightful market towns and quaint villages throughout the area including Knaresborough (5.5 miles), Ripley (1 mile) and the thriving Victorian spa town of Harrogate (4.5 miles). Heading into Nidderdale and the Dales you can visit the pretty town of Pateley Bridge (10 miles), the National Trust's Brimham Rocks (7 miles) or Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden (7.5 miles). For a day at the races, you can head north to the bustling town of Ripon (9 miles). Stepping into this welcoming house you will find a spacious, light and welcoming lounge which makes an ideal space to relax in. With a double wood burner, TV, DVD and a selection of books and games, this is a wonderful room to unwind in at the end of a great day. There is also an additional snug with a wood burner, oak floors and comfortable seating. You will find a formal dining room with exposed beams and views to the front of the cottage, which provides a fantastic backdrop for a special family meal. The stylish and attractive kitchen/diner is equipped with everything you may need including an induction hob, oven, American style fridge, a dishwasher and a central kitchen island, perfect for grabbing a snack or breakfast. A further fridge/freezer and the washer/dryer are housed in a nearby utility room. There is also a handy boot room as well as a ground floor WC. You will also find the first of the three cosy bedrooms on the ground floor. A charming double room, it has an en suite shower room complete with WC. Going up the original stone staircase you will find two further bedrooms. There's a twin room with original stone window surround and a Master King room with an en suite bathroom complete with shower overhead. There is also a family bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. Heading out into the garden you can relax in a well tended and completely private 1 acre plot which is divided into different areas. There's a delightful patio area with furniture, extensive lawns and a hammock, making this idyllic country garden a wonderful space to unwind in.
