Balorrin is a self-catering 4-bed holiday home which boasts an enviable location in the hamlet of Aultgowrie, just outside Muir of Ord on Scotland’s Black Isle peninsula. This beautiful area enjoys superb views across soaring hills and unspoilt countryside.
The stunning open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining space has a beautifully light and open feel to it, with large windows to immerse you in the surroundings. Relax on the comfortable furniture, warm yourself up with the stylish wood-burning stove, and keep the entertainment going with a flatscreen TV with Sky channels and a DVD player, a CD player, a radio, and a range of books, games, puzzles and brochures for local attractions.
Prepare something delicious in the modern kitchen, featuring a range of appliances including a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, and dishwasher, then enjoy your meal together around the dining table which seats seven people.
From the living area you can head out through a patio door into the beautiful enclosed back garden, which comes complete with a patio area, outdoor furniture and a barbecue, making a perfect place to relax in spectacular surroundings and perhaps enjoy some food al fresco.
Balorrin has four comfortable bedrooms. The stunning master bedroom has a king-size bed, a free-standing wardrobe, an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath, and even an adjoining conservatory. There are also two twin bedrooms, each with two single beds and a wardrobe and one also having a dresser with a mirror, as well as an additional single bedroom. All bedrooms come with bedside cabinets with lighting, as well as curtains and blackout blinds.
There’s a family bathroom with a bath and a separate shower, in addition to a handy utility room off the kitchen with a washer/dryer, a large sink, an iron and ironing board, and access to a boot room. From here you can also access the double garage which contains a ping-pong table as well as 2 mountain bikes for the use of guests.
Balorrin makes superb accommodation for a larger group looking for a fantastic place to relax and spend some time together, and it’s also an excellent home base for exploring Scotland’s Black Isle peninsula, or paying a visit to the exciting city of Inverness, both of which are conveniently close at hand.
