The ground floor apartment is a home away from home in Coastguard Court at the southern end of the High Street. The beach is a stone's throw away and the town centre is a short stroll (0.3 miles). Aldeburgh itself is a beautiful, unspoilt seaside town with a variety of independent shops, pubs, renowned restaurants, and seaside huts selling fresh fish. There are two golf courses and yacht clubs, tennis courts and an independent cinema. Aldeburgh has excellent walking and cycling routes. Rent boats at The Meare, a boating lake unlike any other, in nearby Thorpeness (2.3 miles). Aldeburgh offers all year round festivals including HighTide performance festival and an arts festival, you can also see a live performance at Snape Maltings' famous concert hall (6.6 miles). Visit RSPB Minsmere, a beautiful nature reserve a short drive away. The private entrance from the patio leads directly into the living room. Once inside, the entire home is on one level. This spacious, light filled room has a cosy atmosphere with wonderful seaside artwork and a homely feel. The lounge area has two comfortable sofas, a TV and DVD player to catch up on your favourite programmes and films it's the ideal place to relax after a long day exploring. The bedroom is dual aspect with a queen size bed (which can be made into twins on request). There is plenty of room to store your clothes in the spacious wardrobe and there s an en suite bathroom for convenience. Outside the front door is a small, south facing patio with outdoor seating where you can relax and enjoy your morning coffee.
