Located in the beautiful countryside and just three miles from the centre of Carlisle, with its shops, bars and restaurants. This location offers you the ideal base to explore the Cumbrian coast, Scotland and the Lake District National Park. There are lots of bike routes and walks available from your front door and plenty to do in the local area, why not visit Carlisle Castle, Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery or the Solway Aviation Museum. The train station in Carlisle offers a regular direct train service to both Edinburgh and Glasgow, why not enjoy a day trip or travel just ten miles away and you will find yourself in the famous Scottish town of Gretna Green, visit the wedding anvil or enjoy a day shopping at the outlet village. This annexe feels more like a cottage due to its living space and setting, once inside the property you will find the perfect romantic getaway. As you walk in through the entrance, you will find yourself in the spacious kitchen with an island, breakfast bar and comfy chair. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric range hob and oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge/freezer and microwave. It is a lovely bright room with access out onto the decking. From the kitchen, you will find a bathroom with a bath, shower and WC and a large double height lounge with a cosy wood burner, Smart TV and comfy sofas to sink into after a long day. It offers the perfect place to curl up with a glass of wine and a good book or watch a movie on your Netflix account. From the kitchen you head up the stairs to the first floor, the landing to the bedroom overlooks the lounge. There is a king size bedroom with an en suite with a shower and WC. Heading outside, there is a small private garden and decking to sit out and enjoy a summers evening or have a coffee in the morning to make plans for the rest of your stay. There is private parking for up to two cars, the closest pub is just over a mile away and the nearest shops and restaurants are under two miles away.
