Town: These two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme, as well as the town's two waterfronts are what give Llandudno its unique appeal as a tourist destination. There are two outstanding beaches in the town: the North Shore, which has a wide promenade backed by an impressive crescent of Victorian hotels, and the quieter West Shore, which has miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes and amazing views of Anglesey. However, for the best views, you can take the Great Orme Tramway or an exhilarating over-a-mile cable car ride to the summit of the 679ft Great Orme. The promenade is only a short distance from the town's excellent collection of stores, pubs, restaurants, and cafés.
Located in Llandudno, this vacation home is on the beach. Home Front Museum and Llandudno Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Great Orme Tramway and Great Orme Ancient Mines. Pen-y-Dinas Hillfort and Bodafon Farm Park are also worth visiting. Discover the area's water adventures with fishing nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with hiking/biking trails, cycling, and rock climbing.
