There are two golf courses and yacht clubs, tennis courts and an independent cinema. Aldeburgh has excellent walking and cycling routes. Rent boats at The Meare, a boating lake unlike any other, in nearby Thorpeness (2.3 miles). Aldeburgh offers all year round festivals including HighTide performance festival and an arts festival, you can also see a live performance at Snape Maltings' famous concert hall (6.6 miles). Visit RSPB Minsmere, a beautiful nature reserve a short drive away. The private entrance from the patio leads directly into the living room. Once inside, the entire home is on one level. This spacious, light filled room has a cosy atmosphere with wonderful seaside artwork and a homely feel.
