Enjoy beautiful views of the Shropshire countryside in this stunningly converted Dutch Barn. Full of original character and industrial feel all with a luxurious finish - steel frame, domed ceiling and metal stairs to access. Backs on to the Shropshire Union canal on one side and the amazing Fenn's, Whixall & Bettisfield Mosses National Nature Reserve on the other.
Perfect for walkers and those wanting to enjoy the peace and quiet of a rural setting, while only being 10minutes drive from the vibrant market towns of Whitchurch and Ellesemere, which boasts a lovely lakeside restaurant.
The barn is newly converted for 2023, with a large kitchen area including oven, fridge and dishwasher for self catering; high spec bathroom with large power shower and a big open plan bedroom (with giant bed) and comfortable lounge area with TV and WIFI, all leading to the generous balcony overlooking the countryside and canal with outdoor table and chairs, perfect to enjoy a morning coffee.
Ideal as a writer's retreat, artist's inspiration or for walkers who love to enjoy a friendly, rural setting. The barn is on owner's own property - we're on hand if you need any assistance, but after your check we will give you space to enjoy your surroundings.
Kitchen is kitted out with pots, pans, cutlery, crockery to make you self sufficient and all guests will receive a 'welcome pack' with some goodies to enjoy during your stay.
The beautiful space has been finished in a way to celebrate it's industrial past; with steel frames showing and sympathetic colour scheme. We also proudly show artwork by local Shropshire artist, Karen Ulph on our walls.
Please note, conversion is of an original Dutch Barn, so access is via stairs only.
This vacation home is located in Whitchurch. JB Joyce and Company and Wem Town Hall are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Colemere Country Park and The Mere At Ellesmere Country Park. BeWILDerwood and Hodnet Hall Gardens are also worth visiting.
