THE PROPERTY:
Tucked away in a small, quiet valley with vineyards to the east and west, Little Vintners is a cosy one-bedroom home. Little Vintners is listed here by Inspire Stays dot com, the leading independent Sussex holiday company. Visit us direct for full info about this home.
The front opens into the well equipped kitchen/dining area with a vaulted ceiling. The sitting room offers a sofa, Smart TV with Blu-ray player, French doors to the garden and views over from two sides. There is also a cloakroom/WC downstairs for convenience. Stairs lead to the king size (5’) bedroom on the first floor, where the sloping ceilings add to the charm and a large dormer reveals views across the garden. Beyond the bedroom, an en-suite wet room offers a shower, WC, bidet and washbasin.
French doors from the sitting room open onto the side garden, bordered by a small, natural stream. The side garden opens onto a fabulous large lawn to the rear, overlooked by a magnificent cedar tree. A quiet, secluded spot to enjoy a cup of tea or glass of award-winning local wine. There’s also easy access to the local footpath and bridleway network into the surrounding countryside.
LOCAL AREA:
Gay Street is a tiny hamlet, yet home to three acclaimed vineyards and Wine Estates. Nutbourne, Nyetimber and Ambriel Sparkling are all within walking distance (ticketed open days only at Nyetimber), and there are no less than 10 quality vineyards within 10 miles. Beer and ale enthusiasts can enjoy Hepworth and Greyhound Breweries both within 3 miles. Stock up on local produce at Dyke Farm Shop a mile away, and there is also a large Sainsbury’s and Tesco at Pulborough. Further afield there is an abundance of places to visit including Petworth, Arundel and the picturesque South Downs.
