The lodge was completed after a 2 year conversion finished with painstaking detail and attention.Externally it is oak and sandstone clad with all woodwork oak.The interiors finished to an incredibly luxurious standard, very few if any self catering properties in the country are finished to this standard.

The 3 acre gardens are beautiful and really come alive from April, the flowering cherry trees in April are absolutly breathtaking and the mature tree and shrub borders offering something interesting most of the year. In season apples and plums can be picked.
The gardens are a sheltered south facing suntrap boasting a small football pitch,sunken trampoline and an amazing Rainbow play systems climbing frame.

Red squirels, rabbits, woodpeckers and pheasants come most days to feed in the grounds, foxes, badgers and roe deer often pass through.
Its location is a bit special sitting right above the Bridge of alvah and famous gorge crossing the lower River Deveron.
Secluded and remote yet only 2 miles from the Moray Firth coastal towns of Banff and Macduff with beautiful beaches.

Access to the house is through the arched double doors entering the spacious hallway.

Kitchen
The stunning Poggen Pohl kitchen fitted with Miele appliances including 2 ovens, bean to cup built in coffee machine, 2 fridges, microwave, dishwasher, electric hob and Poggen Pohl breakfast bar.Rolf Benz glass table and chairs.A spacious Ligne Rosset suite with 52" wall hung lcd tv, Sky box(full package), Sonos sound system activated with Napster.Bringing the outside in with very large ceiling to floor windows and access to the south facing garden via 2 differnt sets of double doors.This room also has a partial partition seperating the dining room with a 12 seater Rolf Benz dining table and chairs, this room also has floor to ceiling windows.The views from the kitchen of the rolling countryside are picture perfect.
