Inside, the immaculate accommodation is ideal for families or friends, with three double bedrooms, modern bathrooms with plenty of hot water and comfortable beds ensuring a restful stay at any time of the year. The spacious kitchen/diner opens onto a small seating area at the rear where you can watch the owner’s beautiful Clydesdale horses in their paddock.
To the east the fabulous sandy beaches of Montrose, Lunan and Arbroath are a short drive away whilst inland, the five Angus Glens have a plethora of excellent walks and pathways, not to mention a wealth of wildlife. Historic Edzell with its Royal Arch and championship golf course is seven miles away and Fettercairn village where visitors are welcome at the Fettercairn Distillery is just 1½ miles. Slightly further afield are Banchory and Royal Deeside, a wonderful 40-minute drive away over the stunning Cairn O Mount road, with its viewpoint showcasing the whole of the Mearns on a clear day. This truly is a fantastic part of Scotland and well worth a visit at any time of the year. Lady Jane Cottage is the perfect base from which to enjoy your holiday here. Beach 9 miles.
