Once a farm steading, this wonderful retreat is located on Avochie Estate and has a fantastic mixture of wildlife habitats enjoy a stroll along the edge of the River Deveron which runs through the estate grounds. On a walk through the fields and woods you may encounter roe deer, game birds, waders, squirrels, pine martens, or see ospreys, peregrines and other birds of prey overhead. For fishing enthusiasts, the River Deveron offers some of the best fishing in Scotland, and permits can be purchased from FishPal. The local town of Huntley is a large Aberdeenshire town with plenty to see and do, and has a selection of shops, cafes and restaurants and is best known for its lovely, ruined castle. On entering this elegant home, step into the conservatory which overlooks the grounds and tennis court and has a dining table where you can enjoy a family meal while planning your next adventure. Next is the enchanting lounge full to bursting with character and charm, it is an ideal space to relax. The lounge features a traditional wood burner and Smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped, boasting lovely décor and a breakfast table. Completing the ground floor is a utility room with a washing machine and dryer, and a shower room with WC.
