Location

Dundee has been transformed in recent years into a lively and cosmopolitan coastal city. With many exciting commercial and leisure attractions, it has become a favourite place for city breaks. The property is situated in the West End of Dundee, in a picturesque residential area known for its beauty and cultural significance. Magdalen Green is a location that’s been known to inspire poets, writers and artists, including the famous Scottish painter James McIntosh Patrick, who lived just a few doors away from this apartment.

The city centre, which features a fantastic range of shops, restaurants, theatres and the V&A Dundee, is just a short walk away. South Baffin Street, which is just two miles away from our Books & Bridges apartment, is also a popular spot with visitors who want to pay homage to literary legend Mary Shelley who lived in the city in the early 1900s. It was during her stay in Dundee that she is said to have found the inspiration for her gothic masterpiece, Frankenstein.

The property boasts good transport links with a number of bus stops around the apartment. Dundee’s main bus and railway station are also within walking distance. The city’s domestic airport, which offers direct flights to London and Belfast, is just a short drive away.
