Seal Cove Cabin offers spectacular views of Loch Fyne and the ancient woodlands behind. Nestled in an idyllic and private location nearby St Catherines, Cairndow, perfect for exploring the spectacular Cowal Peninsula and the West Coast of Scotland.

This cabin, designed exclusively for two, is the perfect coastal escape to experience peace and tranquility. A hidden haven that will take you on a journey with nature while staying in a little piece of luxury. Loch Fyne is the longest sea loch in Scotland. This tranquil spot is located at the top end, allowing for many beautifully calm flat days to swim and enjoy the loch, often with a curious seal passing by.

Built to a high spec the newly built accommodation takes glamping to the next level offering a home from home experience equipped with modern amenities. The open plan living space is light and bright, with a timber floor and floor-to-high ceiling timber cladded walls.

The Elfin kitchen is fitted with a small worktop, sink, under-counter fridge with freezer compartment, featuring a 30 litre combination microwave with grill, two induction hobs and coffee machine. There is everything you need to prepare breakfast, a picnic or evening meal. With an abundance of local produce on your doorstep you are able to indulge in some of the delicious local foods from nearby villages. The cabin features a cosy dining table for two or enjoy alfresco from the deck.

Featuring a luxury king-size bed with quality linen and furnishings for a comfortable night sleep. The windows are situated perfectly for you to enjoy stunning views of the ancient woodland behind and a far-reaching vista of the loch out in front. There is a sitting area next to the bed with two comfy arm chairs. High spec insulation keeps the cabin cosy!

The bathroom has a walk-in shower cubicle, toilet and hand washing basin. Towels and bed linen provided.

The outdoor space features a covered deck at the entrance with a table and chairs. The perfect spot to enjoy a refreshing gin & tonic or your favourite tipple while watching the everchanging views over Loch Fyne, or simply unwind at one of the many inviting spots to relax outside.

The surrounding space couldn't be more special, with stunning water views surrounded by lush woodlands, winding paths and walkways. There are plenty of tranquil spots, not to mention the long walks along the waters edge that will inspire. Guests have access to a fire pit and seating on the waters edge.

The area is a haven for wildlife with seals, porpoise, otters, red squirrels and an abundance of birdlife. Frequent visitors include red and roe deer, the domestic flock of lavender guinea fowl and even foxes and badgers. To maintain a happy equilibrium with these neighbours, we ask that any dog is always kept securely on a lead to avoid disturbing these creatures.

Guests have access to the lawned parkland area. Through the trees you have a glimpse of the original manor house - but your peace and privacy will be undisturbed.

Seal Cove Cabin is situated at the end of a private gravel road, there is no passing traffic to disturb this tranquil spot.

Seal Cove Cabin has a sister cabin, Seal Point Cabin, which is also available to book - identically set out and sensitively positioned over 40 metres away, ensuring that your peace and privacy are maintained.

There is a loch-side path all the way to the top of Loch Fyne. A visit to Loch Fyne Oysters and Fyne Ales in Cairndow is a must. For the energetic you can easily walk to Fyne Ales.

Nearby is the peaceful village of Strachur where you will find a local store, cafe, and the famous Creggans Inn Hotel. Within an easy driving distance visit historic Inveraray and discover the magnificent Inveraray Castle.

An ideal location to experience what this wonderful region has to offer; spectacular views, local fresh produce, walking tracks, local attractions, fishing and so much more. Located on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. A location for those with a love of sailing, fishing, or those who will simply enjoy the natural beauty in this magical place.

Explore further afield to Argyll's Secret Coast, or take the ferry to the Isle of Bute to visit Mount Stuart. It's also an easy day trip to Oban, one of the seafood capitals of Scotland.

One well behaved dog welcome per booking £25 per dog. Must be house-trained. Please keep on lead when outdoors. Not allowed on bed or arm chairs. Must be pre-booked and paid.
