Rock Cottage in Ardentinny sits in a beautiful location on the Cowal Peninsula looking out over Loch Long. Located next door to the owners, this cosy terraced cottage is within walking distance of the Argyll Forest Park, Britain’s oldest Forest Park established in 1935. Numerous walks and mountain biking trails run throughout, and red squirrels and deer are a common sight amongst the tall, well-established forest. A local restaurant which offers traditional Scottish fayre is close by, and Dunoon is only a 15-minute drive away.
As well as the numerous local attractions and tourist sites, Rock Cottage is ideally located to further explore Argyll. The Portavadie to Tarbert ferry is not far away, and the drive through the countryside to get there is breathtaking. Inveraray to the north is within an hour’s drive, and a visit to the restaurant and oyster bar at the top of Loch Fyne is highly recommended. Beach 1 mile. Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 20 yards.

Located in Dunoon, this cottage is on a river. Castle House Museum and Newark Castle are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Blairmore and Strone Golf Glub and Puck's Glenn. Quadmania and Benmore Botanic Garden are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as fishing and other activities like golfing.
