This stunning apartment is part of the impressive Victorian mansion, Kilbowie House built in the 1888, located almost on the shores of the Sound of Kerrera. Situated just 1.5 miles from the pretty coastal town of Oban. Being on the lower ground floor you have the added benefit of your own private front garden area that looks straight out onto the water and the hills beyond. Breath taking views! The mansion itself sits within its own sizeable 0.6 acre grounds with private and residential communal gardens. The property has access through the front of the main house with its original wooden panelled walls where you can take the elevator down to the lower ground floor.
There is another entrance through the kitchen via the garden at the rear of the main house. You will love the bright and airy feel of this very spacious open plan lounge and dining area, with amazing views across the water. There is a bright well-equipped modern kitchen with a door leading out to the front of the property. Follow the corridor to the luxury bathroom with its double shower and bath. There are two bedrooms both leading out to a small courtyard area, a little hideaway to sit and escape. Choose between the double bed or the twin room. There are plenty of great country walks right on the doorstep and mountain biking as well. Oban is full of lovely cafes and independent shops, but one of the best things about Oban is the drive to get there. The surrounding landscapes are incredible. Although set in a peaceful location Oban has great train links to Glasgow should you wish to head over to this beautiful city while you’re here.
