Boatmans Cottage is a well-appointed and well maintained, single-storey cottage in the beautiful and tranquil village of Tayvallich, just south of Crinan on a remote peninsula which is still part of the Scottish mainland. Approaching Tayvallich, the single-track winding road (with ample passing places) starts to prepare you for the peace and quiet that Tayvallich residents come to expect. Once you arrive at Boatmans Cottage there is no need for a car to get around the village. The general store and Tayvallich Inn, which specialises in locally caught seafood and shellfish, are both within a 10-minute stroll.
The cottage is a home from home with two double bedrooms with zip and link beds, a comfortable living room with a dining area, and a very well-fitted kitchen with a gas hob and electric cooker. Around the front, and to the side of Boatmans Cottage is a decked area with furniture where you can relax. Sea loch beach 100 yards. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
