Kilmartin 5 miles. This charming, mid-terrace cottage sits beside the Crinan Canal, in the hamlet of Cairnbaan, close to Kilmartin in beautiful Argyll on the West Coast of Scotland. Providing comfortable and welcoming accommodation, set in a wonderful countryside setting, this cottage is great for small families and groups of friends to enjoy a retreat in this wonderful part of Scotland. Kilmartin is home to the spectacular ruin of Carnasserie Castle and the Nether Largie standing stones, plus with the medieval hillfort of Dunadd, guests are sure to discover a fascinating history in this wonderful area. Considered the capital of the ancient Gaelic Kingdom of Dalriada, Dunadd is home to ancient stone carvings, including the stone footprint believed to be part of the coronation ritual.
