*Getting here*
The bothy is on the banks of Loch Riddon. We are about a mile down a secluded track which is signposted for ‘Ormidale Lodge’ on the A8003 (NB Ormidale House is a different property which you will pass on the way). You can drive over the Rest and Be Thankful road and take the turn for Tighnabruaich just before you reach Cairndow, or you can take the Western Ferries boat from McInroy’s Point in Gourock. You can even reach us by public transport by taking the train to Gourock, the CalMac foot ferry to Dunoon and the West Coast Motors bus 478 to the end of our track. Contact us for any more detailed directions.
