From this Oban cottage, walk up to the prominent McCaig’s Tower, designed originally to be a lasting monument to John Stuart McCaig and his family. He died before the project was completed, leaving only the outer wall fully constructed. Today the structure holds delightful public gardens, offering spectacular views across Oban harbour to the Isle of Mull and beyond.
