An Lionadh is situated on the magical slate Island of Easdale, 25 minutes South of Oban on Scotland's magnificent West Coast. The house is situated on the Western shore of this tiny, car free island enjoying incredible sea views out to the islands of Jura, Scarba, Islay and Colonsay to name a few. The island boasts a pub and restaurant, play park, museum and an award winning Hall hosting top notch bands and theatre performances. The marine wild life in this area is second to none and basking sharks, bottlenose dolphins and otters have all been spotted from the house. You can bring your own boat, or take a boat trip with the local 4* boat trips operator. Or you can sit back, relax and absorb the beauty of this wonderful area.
Served by a small foot ferry, you leave your car at the pier at Ellenabeich and step in to another world. Conveniently located less than half an hour from the bustling harbour town of Oban, Easdale is the perfect get away from it all destination.
PLEASE NOTE that guests must BYO bed linen, towels, bathmats and tea towels.
Located in Oban, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the waterfront. Easdale Folk Museum and Scottish Slate Islands Heritage Trust are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Oban Ferry Terminal and Glencruitten Golf Club.
